EISH, THE TREK!
EISH, THE TREK! Is a designer board game designed by me and 4 other partners (credit: Nicola Lotter, Lauren Bauer, Chene' Haarhof, Michelle Westermann, and me, Tjaart Pretorius).
This designer board game explores South Africa, together with its cities, roads, politics, traditions, language (including South African slang) and many other aspects in a hilarious way.
The object of the game is to start at a city (randomly chosen by a pick-up card) and then to get to your final destination (your opponents must figure out where it is as you move along, and try and stop you with roadblocks, etc). You have to keep your destination a secret until you get there. The first one to reach their destination, wins.
The packaging was hand-made, and so was other little parts of the board game. The board itself is built like a puzzle before the game starts. It also includes question cards and command cards. All together it's a game of discovery, strategy, and faith.
KFC
This is a simplified pavement painting I did in front of Curlitzia Residence (University Of Pretoria). It is a portrayal of the partnership between Kiaat Residence (University of Pretoria), A men's residence who's mascot is a tiger, and Curlitzia, a women's residence, who's mascot is a chicken.
I'm pretty sure Kiaat enjoyed the KFC.
MY EYE
After THE GATHERERS (see my first post), I was tutoring one of my friends to draw her own self-portrait with charcoal. This is my own eye I drew with charcoal.
LADY IN RED
This is another one of my artworks which I just painted from my mind in a monochrome of Vermilion. She was not inspired by anyone or anything. I gave this as a gift to my cousin, Smirna Smit, and after framing she managed to sell it to a guy for R2000 (SA Rands). I was impressed.

PENETRATION
This is an artwork I did in memory of the sun's rays penetrating your body in a very calm and relaxing way. I experienced this in greatest pleasure once when I was younger, sitting in an open field enjoying the feeling.
